I have two bunnies. Well to save money I got a 55 pound bail of hay from the feed store (for the price 6 pounds cost at the pet store 😀 )
My issue now is how to store it. I’d like to keep it in the garage. Originally I thought I would get a big garbage bin to put it in, but now I’m thinking it won’t get enough air flow. So now I’m thinking maybe in a large card board box with holes poked in it and off the ground. But does anyone have some better ideas?
        Thanks!!

Hay can be stored outside in the rain, so long as it drains and you inspect it’s all good. In the garage in a bin should be really good! I also see people put them on pallet stacks with a tarp over them. I have a really big bale (the round bales you see in fields) so it’s just outside and I bring in hay in a bin, and I keep the lid open for air floor.
No matter how you do it, make sure you sniff before you feed -should smell good!
