I got Bugs fixed over 4 months ago. He is cage-free and litter trained now, except when it comes to my bedroom. He leaves his droppings EVERYWHERE in my room and goes crazy when I clean it up, like he physically attacks the broom and vacuum. He growls and bites and gets so mad! He did this everywhere in the house before getting fixed, but he stopped almost immediately after surgery – except for my room. He will NOT give it up. I shut the door when I clean but as soon as I open it he runs in growling and biting. Does anyone have ANY tips??? I’m so sick of risking getting attacked every time I clean up his poop, and I’m even more sick of cleaning in up.

I think you should allow him free roam everywhere but in your room since something in that room seems to be causing this behavior.

That really is bizarre. Sarita’s right…as always 🙂

I think I see what you are, my problem is I moved, Patrick ran free all the time (When I trusted him) then when we moved, he didn’t like the setup, he spent alot of time in his run until I trusted him again and now I let him run wild when i’m here, when I leave he goes back in his run… Right after I moved here, is when I noticed the aggressive behavior, he didn’t have his window anymore and he sprayed on the bed, but now he’s fixed, he doesn’t do it anymore, but he goes to the end table and chews my books and paper.

I think i’ll try and trust him to run at night and see if that curbs some of the behavior…. I agree with Sarita.
