I just found a place that does those kids party farms that also offer a rabbit rearing program to schools and kinders, they send you a Doe with newborn kits so the kids can play and watch them grow in the class room and once they are  few weeks old they get returned, I can not think of anything more stressful for a rabbit let alone a new mother, it is just too cruel. I just don’t understand the thought process of anyone who would think this is ok, not only purposefully breeding for entertainment but sending a new mum into a new and unfamiliar environment full of loud children while she try’s to care for her young  I’ll be sending them a lovely email telling them exactly how I feel

That’s horrible and stressful for the mother rabbit, and just in general.

That is awful. What happens to all these babies when they are weaned? Are they just dropped at pet stores?! 🙁

              You GO C&C!!!

I hate those petting/patting (whatever you call them) farms that visit shopping centre’s that allow and encourage kid’s to pick up the baby animals. The last time we saw one at our local shops, both my hubby and I cringed as some kid dropped a baby animal on it’s HEAD!

              Just AWFUL!

Beka27 I plan on asking exactly that, what happens to all the babies?
Andhenry I am the same, we had one at a fair a few months back and their was a tiny baby goat, I was shocked when told it was 3 days old everyone was carrying it around and the mother was bleating for her baby but no-one seemed to care, I took the baby from someone and took it over to it’s mum and it was feeding like crazy but 2 seconds later it was grabbed by someone else
