So basically, Loki has finally gotten comfortable enough to come out of his cage willingly to walk around my room. (or should I say “binky” around my room) I was so happy that he finally came out. He was so happy and was running around like a wild bunny. Now everyday if his door is shut, he’ll violently bite and pull on his cage bars telling me when he wants out. I got wire covers to cover any wires that are in his reach, and baby gated areas he can’t go in. Long story short, now that he’s been out everyday, he finally has contact with me! he loves to chew and dig my carpet, but i’ve also figured out he likes doing the same to me.  when i’m just laying on the floor, he’ll come up to me and nibble on my clothes. it’s always around the elbow region if that means anything. this morning he actually nibbled on my bare arm when I was just laying there? what does that mean? tonight he also tried biting my pants!

he also will chew on anything wood related in my room, my mirror, my vanity chair, etc. clearly I need to get him some new chew toys. any recommendations?

Give it up ha ha Whatever they are NOT supposed to chew, they will chew…and they love love love wood…and wallpaper…and anything else that’s off limits. So you can try chew toys and maybe a cheap set of plastic baby keys, but you might have a bun who cannot be left to her own devices for too long…like mine! I spray surfaces with body spray and that seems to help sometimes.
So glad he’s out and about more for you and showing some attitude to be let out…though it must be frustrating to WANT to let him out more, but for those teeth getting into everything.I don’t have anything in particular to suggest, except I’d think twice before investing in any of the expensive wooden toys for birds. I don’t know…but mine only gave them a passing nibble.
And digging? Yup. They do that too. Who knows why, but you may want to consider setting up a dig box for him to go crazy in. But he’ll still probably enjoy digging on you. Mine likes to dig my shirt and tug on the collar. A losing battle with a 12 pound rabbit! It’s so funny!!

Megabunny is right and chewing and digging. Maybe get some willow chew toys and pretend he’s not supposed to have them!

Picturing big Gus dragging Megabunny across the floor by her collar . . . after getting extra strength from helping himself to the bag of pellets . . .

I’ve no recommendations. Alas. My rabbit loves fabric – he can’t have a rug, because he eats them!

My kid strips down to his underwear when ever he spends time with Porky.

I couldn’t remember who it was who had the kid who did that Eepster, but I mentioned it to another person with this same problem once. Hubby would know I was really over the top if I tried that method ha ha!!

I know you made this post a long time ago, but my rabbit is doing they say thing but instead of my elbows, its down on my stomach and he has completely chewed both of my jackets. He loves our dogs and cats and they love him so of course we had cardboard scratching post for our cats (if you know what I mean) so one day it was on the floor and my rabbit went up to it and started to dig at it like a cat would. He completely destroyed it but he didn’t chew on me or dig at my cloths. I hope you see this.
