I’ve had my bunny for about 4 months now and he still doesnt want to come out of his cage. I’ve tried really hard to make him comfortable and happy, he seems to like me at least a little but he rarely comes out for a visit. He’ll sometimes come out between 1 to 6 in the morning but i cant be up all night every night just so he can play. Idk what to do. Im getting worried hes gonna be overweight because he doesnt get the play time to work out his bunny flub. Advice would be very appreciated.

Do you have a slippery surface outside the cage that he’s afraid to hop onto? Many bunnies need a carpet swatch/towel that has better traction for when they take that first hop out. If that’s not the case, I’d give it a try to just pick him up and show him the good life outside the cage…trial by fire if you will. But if he hasn’t come out in all this time, I’d resort to slightly more drastic measures.
By the way…LOVE LOVE LOVE the ears!!! Reminds me of my goofy guy. Have they both lopped?
