I know what you are going through. My rabbits were the same way. Their hormones go crazy after a spay and or neuter. Things should calm back down in a couple of weeks. Both my rabbits chewed, dug and one even was actually jumping off the walls. Its like they went crazy. Then everything settled down about 2 weeks later and they were back to their normal selves. I hope it will be the same for you!

Thank you! At least there is hope. She was such a calm and gentle bun before the spay and this past week has been like shes the devil bunny. Sigh. Now my other 2 girls will be spayed on Saturday so Ill have a house of hormonal buns! I truly believe it will be well worth it once they all get better, but by then my entire house will be chewed! Lol

Hormones can be all over the place for 4 to 6 weeks following a spay or neuter. I like to call this period the post-neuter/spay crazies. Bunnies will act like crazed lunatics and people often wonder what the heck is wrong with their bunny. The good news is that they normally calm down afterward. So don’t let how she is behaving right this moment scare you off.
