        Hi Guys!

My bunny Rodders was neutered 2 weeks ago, he’s 6 months old.

He never did anything territorial (spraying, growling etc…) But the day before we had him neutered he began doing some odd, slightly mean things, they haven’t really changed since (I had a couple of days off while he felt a bit sorry for himself)

If I am sat watching TV/ doing work, he will frequently jump up onto me and scratch at my clothes… for 30-40 minutes or until I pick him up and move him (although he’ll often just walk straight back over!) and ocassionally biting at me (not his usual grooming nips, but bruising me!)

The scratching and digging at clothes is almost obsessive and I feel like I’d be worried about him if he was a human!

Any ideas to stop the biting and calm him down or are his hormones just a bit wacky from the neuter?

        Thanks!

Kieko does that when she wants us to pet her. She’ll first try the “I’m here, worship me” stare, then may climb on us, and if that doesn’t get her the amount of attention she wants she starts digging and nipping. If she’s feeling more impatient than usual she’ll dive right into dig and nip.

Yup Some rabbits like to do that. You could try holding him on a towel so he attacks that instead of your clothes.

Hehe, OK so he’s just being a prima donna! I can live with that 🙂 I’m not too bothered about my clothes as I tend to change right out of my smart clothes when I get in from work (I work in a hospital so you can imagine they are often not very pleasant…) I’ll just be sure to bow to his every whim as best I can! Cheeky bugger.

Now you’re getting it!! Yes, bow to each and every whim and life will be just fine…for him! One person said her kid just takes off all his clothes before holding the rabbit so it has nothing to dig at. But I like the towel idea best
