because Loki’s is a lionhead, I make sure I brush him everyday. I just recently started doing this. I’ve only had him for a few weeks. I do it every morning now after I clean his cage. whenever I reach in to brush him, he’ll sit there, then all of a sudden he’ll chase the comb, and then he’ll literally run around the cage like a crazy animal, and jump up in the air! which I’m assuming is a “binky” but I’m confused as to why he’d do this from me brushing him? he also loves to nibble on the comb. I can’t figure out if he just likes it? or if he’s scared. he doesn’t seem to be scared.

My bun (french angora) does this too. She’ll binky and nibble on the comb. I assume she likes this because she’ll always come back for another brushing.

Sounds like!e a binky to me. While I could be wrong, Im under the impression that a scared rabvit will freeze up or try to hide before running.

yes that’s exactly what I’m thinking. I’ve only had him for 2 and a half weeks, but he’s came a long way. when I first got him, he would run whenever I made a noise. so Im thinking because he isn’t running into his hut.. he must not be scared. him nibbling the comb was what threw me off
