My bunny, Kimo, who is now 11 years old, has been having arthritis problems, and has trouble hopping and cleaning himself, and is also scalding his bottom with his urine, causing either the fur to fall off or leaving the fur matted. I’ve tried washing his bottom with just water, but not all of the matted fur comes loose. I was wondering if anyone has used zymox or any other safe shampoo to clean their bunnies? Thanks so much for any suggestions!

I’m not familiar with zymox but I looked it up and it sounds like it would be good. There isn’t the possibility of him ingesting anything down there anyway since he has arthritis. I say give it a try.
