We have a 4 month old girl. We’ve had her since she was 8-9 weeks old. She’ll be having a new buddy soon, a 7-8 week old girl, she is super tiny. So I’m going to introduce them on neutral ground tonight, maybe in the tub? I made the mistake of introducing them last night in the living room, which our existing bunny often has free roam of. It went fine at first and big bun was grooming the little one, but then she bit her, started lunging at her and tried to bite her a few more times.
So my question is, when I let them in tub together, should I let the bigger bunny get close to her just yet? She’s like 4x’s the size of the baby. I’m just afraid that she’s going to bite her or something and it’ll be so quick that she’ll REALLY hurt her before I’m able to react.
Any other advise too would be super appreciated.
Neither one is fixed. The baby is too little. And my 4 month old is too young for many of the places near me to do it, even they would i can not afford it yet.

I would wait till both are grown up enough to he spayed, females are super territorial and that might be what you are seeing as the 4 month old is starting to hit puberty

It’s not to say they can’t be bonded, it’s just that the spaying will help with bonding, it will also help with keeping them together

Sounds like that baby is going to be really stressed if this is a new home AND she’s being put with someone aggressive. I second what Robert said
