Has anyone found great hay online this Fall/Winter? Leafy, green, not too stalky but not too soft? I had great luck last year, but not so much this year. If you’re happy with your hay that you ordered online, where did you get it?

        Thanks!

Tractor Supply Timothy hay. It was $17/bale a couple of months ago.

I don’t know if they ship, but this is the hay that I get at my local pet store: http://www.kneedeepfarms.ca/

It’s really nice, 1st cut timothy. You could always call. It’s a family farm; I called when I was first deciding on hay, and reached an actual family.

I checked at our Tractor Supply and they just have straw.

Boing – the website doesn’t say where they ship or how to order. I’m guessing shipping from Canada to the US would be expensive?

The website isn’t the most sophisticated, but you could always call. Shipping is usually cheaper going from Canada to the US than vice versa. I have no idea why. A quote would be free.
