Well its still not 100% finished but he has been playing in it all day for the past few weeks…well, just hanging out on the ground floor lol. He doesnt like going up the ramps yet but I’m hoping now that it will be his permanent home he will be more interested in going up. I still need to add his furniture and fleece to the ground floor and support under the bottom ramp, and fix the base coroplast a bit but that should all be completed today, so I will add more pics later. I just really want to share this with someone! Its taken far more time and money than I care to admit hehe but it was lots of fun and hopefully totally worth it for my boy I’ll post pics of the different stages it was made. There are actually more doors than I have open in the last pic, including a couple in the back.

Here is the completed condo…I will be adding in toys slowly as he gets used to the new place. For now he is exploring the first two levels…hasn’t gone to the top level yet but we just moved him in last night.

                Looks nice!

I like the red box — what is it really and where did you get it?

That was unfortunately his very first cage (bottom part). After I realized it was too small I made him a decent sized NIC pen but it was still too small for my liking, but the red base was always his “home base.”

I was afraid of that. I’ve been keeping an eye out for something that size to use as a double-size litterbox but everything I’ve found that’s long enough usually isn’t wide enough.

It’s about 20″ wide which is about the same width as some under bed storage boxes. Here is an example although this has wheels:

I used to have 2 tiny cages where my bunnies spent nights in (They don’t anymore, now they have a large pen) But the bottoms of the cages I use for litterboxes. I have a purple and a green one. They are about the size of that red box. if you go to Petco you can buy a cage with a base like that for about $30-$50 and JUST use the bottom part, as the actual cage if far to small for a bunny to live. Although they can be useful for containing your bunny for up to an hour while you clean, if they tend to get scared or undo your work

How big are those MK? I’ve been wanting to replace mine since this is almost 10 years old. But the ones I’ve seen that are that big are around $100, but I am in Canada so maybe that is the difference? This is about 20″ x 40″
