Does any body else’s rabbit just eat EVERTHING!? She doesn’t just chew paper or cardboard, she will eat it!

Emm-renn — I think when they started breeding domestic bunnies someone decided to sneak some goat genes in there as a joke! Now we have bunnies that eat everything and head butt!

Yup My rabbit ate a lot of the rubber mat under the treadmill. Definitely some goat genes. AndHenry’s bun will never live down the Coke can incident. Don’t know if he actually swallowed any, but he certainly demolished that aluminum.

I totally feel you! My mom’s office has an open trash can and Bun Bun knocked that thing down and chewed through an old chicken nugget box. I can say he is now banned from there but… bunny+chicken nugget? It was the box with no actual nuggets in it but still. Carnivorous bunny anyone?

Okay good! I’m glad I’m not the only one. She has eaten pieces of eraser and rubber bands before. It freaks me out. She is eating/drinking/pooping/moving around fine still.

Well, 2015 is the Year of the Goat.

Most bunnies will eat things like rubber bands, remote buttons, anything with a rubbery texture. It’s like a bunny delicacy. Best to keep things like that out of reach.

Bun Bun has destroyed all of our remotes but one. Two out of five remotes have all their buttons missing. Visitors have seem to forgotten they need to turn the remote upside down if it’s not in their hand >.<

Mine are goats too…I think a main portion of their fiber comes from cardboard. Rubber from remotes and shoes are goners.

Except Cujo…he thinks he is a parrot instead. (Shoulder sitter)

haha! LPT that explains why Fuji ate the buttons off my iclicker remote for school. They still took it back and gave me a full refund

Delilah has a few favorites she always goes after…

She LOVES candles… It must be the wax she likes so much because if she cant find a candle around (I cant leave them anywhere she can get to since she is free roam, otherwise, she will eat as much of them as possible before she is caught) she will try to find crayons (rarely, but every now and then a crayon may get away from one of the kids and she is bound to find it!!)

I have some really nice sewing scissors, and in a matter of one minute, she was able to eat about half of the rubber around the finger grips lol

She also LOVES people food… ive seen her steal food from my kids on numerous occassions (shes a flemmie, and no where near full grown but plenty big enough to get her way!). The funniest was when she cornered my son who had a bag of chips in his hand, and growled at him until he dropped the chips. I walk in and all I see is her tail sticking out of the bag while she munched on them. My 2 year old will try to share his fishie crackers with her…. she even jumped in a chair next to my daughter last week and stole a piece of her toast LOL

I learned to tuck my remote control under my pillow before falling asleep, ha haha! Why am I laughing – so NOT funny! (I can only get one channel!).
Henry has a taste for anything that I treasure and love or is very expensive to replace! Some examples (of MANY) include my cane bed and my bedding. Lets not forget the clothes (pj’s) I am sleeping in – doh!

And yes – my Henry is the one that Megabunny is talking about….. and yes! He drank it! After he opened it all by himself – DAM bunny!

Bun Bun ate the tip of a crayon also. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Did I mention he took one chomp and bit my brother’s $89 headphones in half?

wires, cardboard and once an ice tea label. They are fuzzy hoovers!

AH— Moxie chewed holes in my blankets too. That’s part of the reason I got a new comforter (blanket) for Christmas. Although it’s white, so I see lint-rolling my bed before friends come over in my future! LOL.

I normally try to keep things (everything) away from her. Although she’s chewed library books, microphone’s chord, bedding, and she’s recently been trying to peel the paint off of my walls!

Oh yeah, my rabbit totally fights me for my food as well! I have found that she likes to chew on quark and my paper bills! Oh and she has chewed several holes in my work pants. I hear her chewing something now… better go check what she found this time.

My bun is a living trash disposal, she will eat anything and everything that she can get her hands on. She is especially attracted to harmful things. Those things are extra tasty to her. Oh, also there is no such thing as chew proof. Chew proof cage bottom 0, Flospie 1

Oh Lord. I imagine what a mess that was! Bun Bun tried to go for a dog treat I dropped. Silly thing, you can’t digest meat!

Pete chews on things for what appears to be revenge purposes.
I lost 2 buttons, part of the rubber on the handle of a breaker bar, and part of a dust pan because he didn’t get radicchio…  And this morning before my coffee I found myself saying the words “No, Peter.  We don’t eat car parts!”   Granted it was because I had not paid much attention to him yet today, and it was the box he was chewing on, but still… those words left my mouth.
