So yesterday I went shopping ya know for Christmas! I was planning on getting hay for Theo but of course I was half an hour late! So I used up the last of his hay last night and we do not have any pet stores open on Christmas and tomorrow I probably will not be able to get him hay till 3 because we live way out in the country and are taking a short trip leaving very early in the morning would it be okay if Theo did not have hay for that long??

Theo will be just fine, this happens to all of us from time to time. When it happens to me, one of my girls gets realllllyyyyy grumpy, but thats all over as soon as the hays back. As long as you’re following your usual regimen he will be okay until Friday afternoon. And hey, throw in a few more pellets, it’s the holidays after all..

Yeah should be OK-try to feed more greens if you can -but don’t worry!

If you live out in the country you should try to get a bale of hay if you have somewhere to keep it. I got square bales last year and they were great, this year I got a round bale (1300lbs) which is an insane amount of hay-but it was $60 so very economical!
