I’m living with an insane balance .. that is a terrier and a rabbit, living harmoniously in the same house

the dog is not a killer..  but he’s a purebred DOG ie: he’s totally intrigued by whatever the rabbit does

one day i offered the terrier some rabbit food and e was like “gross. rabbit food?”

but one day he saw me feeding the rabbit, his tune changed “OMG !!!!!!! rabbit food!!!!!!!!!!!!

dog DEVOURED all the rabbit’s food”

i reallt just want to hear from dog and rabbit people :/

My dog’s don’t eat the rabbit food, but Henry (my bunny) eats the dog food – dam!
As soon as Henry is up and about I have to pick the dog food up. Sometimes I forget to put it back down again – my poor dog’s are starving!

          Silly/naughty bunny! LOL!

My dog loves rabbit food, but he won’t go in the pen as readily as a terrier might. I suspect Henry’s the only rabbit I’ve ever heard of who would eat dog food. But then, there ARE the Coke cans! The dog has to be by my side anytime I go in the direction of the rabbit because he doesn’t want anybun getting more attention. Very jealous

My rabbit does not eat pellets so my dogs ignore his food. But my terrier loves to try to eat Frodo’s poop which is annoying. Plus I can’t give frodo any treats with his pen door open cause my dogs will scarf everything down. Frodo has never been interested in dog food, though he has never been given the chance but he did use to have access to the cats food and never bothered that.

oh frodo- my dog eats rabbit poo too which gives him the runs

i’m seriously thinking about filling the dogs bowl with rabbit food (since anything you put in his bowl becomes boring)

but my friend who’s a vet thinks he might just becaome addicted to the rabbit food and destroy my whole plan

Im lucky that my dogs stomach is bullet proof so I have no fear of him getting sick. But now he looks for rabbit poop outside which is not good. I could see a dog becoming addicted to pellets. Its something new and exciting that they are not suppose to have lol.
