i’ve read a lot about bunny care and have thus read a lot about faux sheepskin rugs

i have a few REAL sheepskins and i’m wondering if they’re an animal rights issue or if real sheepskins pose a threat to bunbun?

Lol, if you don’t mind the real sheepskins being ruined, then they’re fine to have around your bunny.

My rabbits LIVE TO digging up carpets, chewing them, and peeing on them.

Oh yeah. And your rabbit could eat the strands and get a fatal blockage. So no, I would say sheepskin rugs aren’t safe.

Most rabbits will eat any type of “sheepskin”.
