The situation: lately I’ve have had a need to pick Flops up since he’s been getting into mischief. Yesterday no issues, today I noticed that his inside most toe is red

Observations: the toe or the nail itself is red
No blood observed on fur, cage, xpen area, bedding, carpet, or litter
No noticeable change in movement. Still running, jumping and moving at same speeds
Both inside toes are red. I find it odd it’s on both sides
Nails on foot are longer but not ridiculously long. I have no luck with trimming back legs. I can only do front paws

Challenges: I have difficulty getting a good look. She moves too much and is uncooperative

Any thoughts or has anyone experienced this? I would greatly appreciate some replies for peace of mind

Some pinkness is normal in the toes but if they look more vividly red I would be concerned too. It’s just the inside toes, not any of the others?
Try wrapping her up in a towel and see if you can get a better look that way. If not, I would recommend taking her to a vet for a check up. They can tell you whether the toes are a problem and show you how to trim her nails.
