Literally, I’ve been letting panda out more and I actually watched him reach between his legs, grab a poop and throw it…This has happened several times tonight and happens near the door that separates him and elly for the time being

I’m sure fixing him will take care of it which he is going in for on monday, I was just curious if anyone else has seen this type of behavior

I haven’t seen this type of behaviour but it sounds entertaining!

It’s slightly annoying since he leaves about 100 of them in 5 minutes….well at least he is regular lol

I’ve seen Kieko reach down there and kindof flick them out but she hasn’t thrown any. She does the “100 drop” too in our common play area. She’s got to make sure her presence is known. I’ve been laying down on the floor before while she’s out playing, and found an outline of my body in poop, almost like a crime seem marking.

I am laughing so hard, I have tears in my eyes!!! From the descriptions, I can just imagine what it actually looks like. When its not your bunny doing the 100 poops in five minutes or outline of your body, it is hilarious.

Omg I thought Bun Bun was the only one who did the 100 poops haha. He does it on my mom’s bed ONLY.

Reading that made me laugh because I was totally picturing it. Bunnies are such brats!

I am to the point where I can recognize when he is about to do it, spray bottle stops it right quick lol

Tomorrow he loses his manhood lol

Neutering will take care of alot of things but not necessarily marking against another bun. Kieko was spayed in Oct 2013 and has immaculate litter habits everywhere except the common play area, and she can poop up a storm there . . . Its amazing how well she can find the exact spots where Marlee and Moshi laid and “make them hers”!

Yea, but a person can hope right? Lol

It helped immensely with elly, she will not go anywhere but her litter box, now if could get her to stop digging in it…

Ah yes, the “must be buried treasure in the litterbox” dig. I know that one well. Here, the best part is that Moshi has now taught Marlee the fun of litterbox digging. Seven inch deep xl cat litterboxes help contain the litter, but the litter mountains don’t help much when somebun pees on the bare spot left in the litterbox!

Fixing panda took care of that issue, he doesn’t even go in the common play area where we have both cages placed next to each other…but he still doesn’t poop much in his litter box, he will pee in it all day long but poops are left in his cage all over the place…mostly in front of the litter box…I’m hoping it’s only because it’s a little tall to jump into and he’s lazy

I doubt this is totally the answer, but Marlee kicks poop out of the litterbox every time she hops out, and there’s usually one or two that stick to furry feet upon exit and fall off as they hop out.

Yea it’s not I watch him do it, he’s to lazy to hop in

Then again he lived in a cage with no litter box for the first 4 months of his life, might have something to do with it

The bright side — poop vacs right up, pee does not.

He may still want to drop poops for awhile after neutering. Keep picking them up and put them in his box. Fortunately, pee in the box is more important than poop in the box!

He’s got 100% perfect litter box training now, even though he is right next to elly

I figured we would have issues with either of them pooping in front of each other cages but they both remained perfect outside of the cages from day 1
