I have heard a lot about how it is better to get an older bunny because that way they are most likely already neutered and you know their personalities and what not. However, I got an 8 week old lion head and i love him, love the way he plays, socialized etc.

My question is, how much do they really change? What are your experiences with you buns changing after being neutered or hitting that naughty teenage stage?

Also, my bunny started circling me,hopping around me, making weird inner grunting noises….are these signed of male territorial stuff because he is not neutered? will he start spraying soon?

When can you usually neuter a lion head.

Last question! what are lion heads usually mixed with because mine is a mix but idk what…he is 8 weeks and already over three pounds i think…

        thanks!

I got my rabbit when she was about 3 months. So she was just starting puberty. She was and still is a very sweet bunny. She is very well liter trained but she chews a lot. I have a lion head/chinchilla (rabbit) mix. She is about 2-3 lbs right now. I don’t know if she will get any bigger because the dad was about 5 pounds and the mother was on the smaller size.

He will change the same way humans do, the grunting you hear is usually a sign of sexual interest

I have noticed with my female that she became much more loving/cuddly and playful after her spay, I can’t speak so much for males since the one we had passed 4 weeks after his neutering and his Humping of the female never stopped
