My bunny just gave birth to 3 little cuties a few days ago. I need to travel to my grandma’s next week and I would like to bring the bunnies. The babies will only be a 1.5 weeks old. Would it be OK to take them as long as I take all the necessary precautions? Thanks for the help!

I think it’s imperative that they stay with the mother. Are you considering an alternative, such as a pet sitter coming to care for them, or having them board at your vet’s, or a friend’s house? I would opt for the most comfortable and stable arrangement.

Btw, we have some rules about baby bunnies (no posting pix, no breeding, that sort of thing.) Please read the Rules section for the site so you can be mindful of them. If you are keeping all the babies, we are happy to help, of course, since they are yours.
