Pumpkin used to get WAY TOO MUCH papaya…cuz seriously who can tell that face no?! So I took an empty mayo jar, cleaned it out real good and filled it half full with pellets. When I shake the jar it has the same effect as if I’ve shaked her papaya jar. She goes completely bonkers until she gets some pellets! Super cute and fun and I don’t have to worry about too many sweets. In fact, she hasn’t had papaya in days! Oh well, maybe a pumpkin cookie tonight…if she’s good!

Were they papaya pills? They make a good treat with no calories. I give mine human ones. Doesn’t do a thing for hairballs, but Gus loves them and sticks his big face over the top of the pen to chow it down in one gulp.

A little off topic, but I love to give my bunnies (especially the lops) oat hat seed heads (nibble noms from BB store) and have them eat from my palm — the feel of those soft chubby furry faces in my palm just makes me melt!

Lost track of time thinking about furry faces eating nibble noms from my hand……much nicer than thinking about work!

The papaya we have is the sugary treat kind. I can’t find the tablets anywhere. I just ordered some organic cracker things from BB for xmas. I agree…furry face eating my hand is great….I just worry about getting bit when the food is gone!

It is hard to say no, I agree. When I give treats, I give just tiny pieces so I can give them several during the day.

I do my job well as a strict mommy..but my parents give in :/ I always suspect them of giving fruits to Moshu in my absence.
