So I have had my 4-year-old rex Reggie since this summer, and he is such a doll.

I recently rescued a second rabbit, a little tiny guy named Radagast (Raddy). He’s still a baby, was found living outside so I took him in and have been caring for him.

Raddy is going to be neutered this week, and I’d like to start the bonding process once it’s been completed.

Looking for some tips on bonding an adult male to a baby male, both will be neutered. Reggie is extremely mellow, snuggles an sleeps with my dogs, he is very non-confrontational.

I bonded an older bunny to a baby bunny too. Slowly let them get used to each others scent so they know that there’s another bunny around. Then put them in the bathtub with a towel laid out on the floor and some hay and water and leave them in there under close supervision. Since its neutral territory, neither one should be territorial. They’ll just get to know each other, there may be a bit of circling, but some good signs to look for are humping, grooming, flopping, and cuddling.

If they just continue to ignore each other, then put them in a laundry basket or a cardboard box and walk around with it. This method is commonly used because then out of nervousness, they will turn to each other for comfort and will snuggle. This get them used to the other one’s smell. Hope all goes well with you!! Good luck! Bonding bunnies is stressful but fun!
