Whenever I hold my bunny; March, on the couch, she loves to climb all over me and dig at my pant legs and lick/chew my shirt. Problem is, a lot of my shirts now have holes in them all along my chest and shoulders from where she chews. When she chews she also sometimes nips my skin and it hurts and leaves a bruise. So I tried to fix this by covering myself in a blanket whenever I sit on the couch with her but she digs the blanket out of her way and goes back to chewing on my clothes. Is there a way to help stop this? She’s only 4-5 months, so could it be something she might grow out of?

Get her spayed when she is of age (I believe it’s around 6 months.) You need to spay her for health reasons, and it will also remove the hormones which make her aggressive.

Also, buy her lots of toys so she isn’t bored during the day. Maybe she’ll be interested in chewing these instead of you.

My big guy loves to do that too. Drives me nuts! And it hurts! No idea what to do. But you have my sympathy!

My son’s solution is to always strip down to nothing but his underwear around the bunny.

I doubt she’ll grow out of it. She is trying to help groom you and loosen up that weirdly matted fur you have.

Ha That’s actually pretty smart! But I don’t think my family would like to see me try that!
