Yep… Just Starsky. I am still trying to figure out how to load pics from a tablet. I can’t reset the size and it makes them too big and I haven’t found an online editor that will reduce the size. Will do it again now I’m at work.
Hoping some of the others aren’t as grainy as I’d like to use them for my Xmas cards. -

We had a little kitty standoff today. Actually this was Lily’s first proper encounter with another cat. Of course she has seen some at the vet before, but she’s always too freaked out to really notice them. So today she met Chucky, one of the stray cats (we give silly names to most animals we encounter on a regular basis in our neighborhood
).

The odd effect in the video is just something that appears to happen when you use the Slow-mo function on the Galaxy S5… It’s a bit annoying…

It’s almost a blessing him being blind on that side now, means I can take whatever photos in the dark and not be worried about the camera flash upsetting him!

Wanted to share some December pics, sorry for the poor lighting–it gets dark so early now, I don’t have many chances to get sunny photos!
Pippin is shocked at Merry’s audacity to want to be groomed (poor Merry, I don’t think Pip is ever going to give in).
But at least he’s good for cuddles!

Sooooooo Hazel…… you want a lop? I’ll swap Henry for Oscar, especially now I know Oscar is on his way to being a ‘lap bunny’! By the way, congratulations! And YES, I’m as jealous as hell!
Heads up Hazel, Lily is looking at you in absolute disbelief!!! She thinks she is looking in the mirror and she’s asking you ‘do I really look like that? I thought I was prettier?’, LOL!
PS – Is that the cat you were thinking of taking in? Poor thing, it looks like it really wants to. But I totally get why – Lily is and has to be your number one girl! But it’s still sad….. *sigh*And ‘back up’ bam and JR! Hazel and I stole Merry – he’s OUR cuddle bunny! Though I’m thinking maybe Hazel doesn’t need one anymore? Maybe Merry should be all MINE!

AndHenry, no, actually that is a different cat. Chucky looks like he wants to come in because he’s used to getting fed by all the neighbors (you can see he’s a little “chubby”). I guess he’s expecting food from us, too?!
Here’s the cat we wanted to take in:
We called her Bear. We thought she was a boy at first, otherwise we might have picked a more feminine name.
And yes, it is sad. She’s so cute and sweet, I just wanna scoop her up. 
Merry is totally ours!!!! And no, you can’t have him all to yourself, AndHenry! Oscar is a fickle thing, who knows how long he will keep this charade up! (until we run out of craisins, I assume…)
Seriously though, he has improved SO much, I’m very happy with him. Hand feeding really did the trick, I think. There’s no more lunging, it’s been forever since he bit me last. He still gives me the ceremonial grunt of displeasure when I put my hand in his cage, but he actually doesn’t care anymore. Even hubby said he loves him a little now! (But hey, if you wanna give Henry to me for Christmas, I won’t complain!
)LLH: I just can’t get over how cute Pumpkin is! She’s laying under the tree like the cutest Christmas prop…

But seriously, we are always catching her playing in the curtains. She likes to run through them and rub her head up and down on them. I am pretty sure she thinks they are petting her! She sat like this for about 15 minutes until I got up and she followed me.

Okay, so I’ve finally got some pictures of Mr Roger without a watermark. My wife still doesn’t have access to all the editing tools (we’re waiting until after Christmas to purchase lightroom as she’s got her heart set on it).
These are the same photos I was waiting on nearly a month ago, where she was trying out a new lens, a few weeks into learning about DSLRs (and the lens my dad lent turned out to have a problem with autofocus). Naturally, this was A Disaster and as a result she hates almost all the pictures and has declared only three of them viewable. It’s a shame as I thought quite a few were lovely.
We’ve since taken the platform out of the cage as it took up space unnecessarily.

LLH, AndHenry: I was thinking Persian, too. She’s beautiful, although she looks a little raggedy right now since she’s not getting brushed. I keep finding tufts of her fur in our driveway.
When I was cleaning Oscar’s litter box today, he decided to venture up on top of the hay rack to enjoy the view:
Oscar: “It doesn’t look that far, I can make it. What do you think?”
Me: “NO!!!”

Aww. Oscar is the cutest. Pete has gangly legs! And the snuggle bunnies are adorable.
I bribed my wife and Mr Roger into a mini-photoshoot yesterday. Looking forward to uploading those pictures (but maybe not today because I have an exam this afternoon!), plus my wife had already weeded through 590+ photos to edit the ones she liked and didn’t want to sort out more that evening.
Mr Roger refused to co-operate at first, I think he was scared of me leaning closer to him and of the camera noise. But my wife had the camera set up by then so I bribed him with leaves and took a bunch myself. Half the time the picture wouldn’t take for reasons I don’t understand but I think some of them were lovely even if my wife doesn’t agree.
Conversations such as the following ensued:
“Aw, I like this one!”
“You’ve missed his ears.”
“It’s still cute though.
“No, it needs the ears.”
There’s no pleasing some people…
Thankfully, she likes a challenge and got some lovely ones of Mr Roger and myself and some artistic ones of him. -
I snuck onto my wife’s computer to get a couple of pictures I took which wouldn’t pass her scrutiny (her camera is set to shoot in RAW format and I have no software to convert it, and indeed my computer is refusing to turn on). I also figured that while I was at it I might as well play with the settings but couldn’t get it back.
So, if the colouring is a bit off, lol…
Yesterday while repeatedly pressing the button to get the damn camera to accept a shot:

Heard the click and dosed right off a moment later:
Had to delete the photos because the watermark is automatic apparently.
All fixed… and just in time to clear my traces. -
Haha, just as well I did because she was even more fussy about some of the pictures than I thought. I managed to plead a few of mine through, although apparently the composition was terrible. All of them were uploaded to my facebook because it seems she doesn’t want to be associated with them, haha.
It’s amazing how much faster uploading them from facebook is than from the computer. I think it must shrink the file sizes.
I also adopted Mr Roger and don’t know what is fur looked like as baby. Trix’s mane looks a little longer than Mr Roger’s but I think otherwise it’s possible her fur will stay short like his.
I love that he’s pretty much the same colour in black and white. Promise I won’t be making anymore large photo dumps for a while after this!
Clearly in it for the veggies, lol!

Great pictures everyone, keep them coming!I made a new hay rack for Oscar today. I got tired of the old one because a lot of hay would fall through and go to waste. Hopefully this one will do a better job, otherwise I just wasted a whole lot of time…
He seems to like it.
AndHenry: I gotta say I just love Henry’s color. It looks kind of blueish-brown. So pretty! You have to post pictures of him more often!

while watching tv on the end of my bed! LOVE the hayrack! Great job! We are still stuffing Henry’s hay in a cane tube thingy….. Maybe the next time the hubby is bored and annoys me, I should show him yours and JR’s design and put him to work while he is on holiday!

That’s why I got married again – I needed a ‘hammer’!
Edit to ADD – Those were the days……
PS – 18 years later, I still have and use the saucepan (for cooking!) – DING’S and all!

You have extra? lol. I actually would have picked up more before building Pete’s bunny-condo but the store only had so many. I have to wait til they’re back in stock… then it’s time to expand the second floor of the condo and block off any adventure-lands we may have missed.
I do like the hay-rack though! If only Peter would use it… he seems to have a distaste for food that is not in a pile in front of him, or in someone’s hands.. or mouth.. or a sealed container…

You got the right idea hammering with a pan, makes it much easier not to miss! Everyone should do that! This reminds me, we need a new one so badly, but we’re waiting to see if MIL got one for us for Christmas.

He’s such a handsome little guy, and way too smart for his own good. Oscar is a troublemaker, but he never managed to frame one of the other pets for his crimes! Poor Sam… LLH: Thank you, I like that picture too, they are pretty cute together. I’d love to frame it, I just wish there wasn’t a pile of trash in the background.
