prowling around on etsy looking for bunny rubber stamps I found some.  One reminds me of Cotton Boo just had to get it.  Found bunny footprints.  Of course had to get it.

Also found a wax stamp with bunny n heart plus the flexible wax. Of course had to have it. The only people I write to is my Uncle in the nursing home in  Louisiana and Allan my sponsor child in Uganda. Its really cool I can use the stamps for their letters.  I tie a ribbon on their letter.  I cut a  piece of plain paper smaller than the letter then put the wax stamp on it.  That way the letter can be pulled out of the piece of paper wrapped around it without breaking the wax seal with the bunny stamp.  Cool eh?

Allan is fascinated with Cotton.  He wants to know all about him.  Cotton has become quite the celebrity at the school Allan goes too. lol I have sent some pictures and stories of his antics.  Its nice that Cotton can brighten someones day. Someone across the world. An especially poor person.

Its interesting learning about other people the especially poor.  One room shack dirt floor it rains the floors may turn to mud.  Palm fronds used for roofs leak when it rains.  I only recieved one letter from Allan so I don’t know much more yet except for 1 room shack with dirt floor.

The people there break into song and dance so spontaneously. They are so expressive in their emotions.  They dont’ have much but they have love.  The lady who started the program 10 years ago sends us videos on fb.  Its really nice.  To hear from them. The people who are being helped

Bunny stamps sound adorable. I also sponsor a foreign child, a little girl in Ecuador. A very rewarding experience.

The $ I send to sponsor him every month goes into his going to school his meals n such. Sherry tells me the children treasure our letters and pictures too.  They write letters now n then through the school  The teacher picks a day for them to write.  We can also fly over and visit our sponsor child. Sort of like UNICEF I think it is.

I never thought of it like a pen pal.  They don’t write whenever they want or that often I take it.  I believe they write then when Sherry flies back to California she brings the letters with her and mails them to all the sponsors. Also Sherry videos them thanking their sponsors and posts them on fb. Its nice.

They are extremely thankful. Its nice to see people so thankful to America and other countries after seeing so much hate towards us from ISIL and people like that.

The people some are refugees from northern Uganda and Sudan or Samalia whichever country is north of there.  Some are orphans some are just extremely poor.  Some could not otherwise afford an education without the sponsorship,  Also there are sponsors for the medically needy if they need ongoing medication. For adults and children

It is called LOBO  or loving one by one ministries.  You can go online and look it up if you are curious to see what they do for the people there.
