I adopted my female rabbit Winnie about a month ago. She is very sweet and has never bitten until this morning. They said she was about a year old(although she is quite small and her features resemble the baby more than the adult) and found her as a stray. They gave us papers to say that she was spayed. Today when I let her out she jumped onto my bed and started humping my stuffed animal. I pulled her off right away and was really surprised! She had yellowish liquid coming out of her private area. Lately she has been sassy and very active, but also aggressive. Does anyone know anything about this? Is she in heat?

Bunnies don’t go into heat, they are induced ovulators. Was this a shelter that you got her from? If it is, there is no reason to think she isn’t spayed if they said she was. If it wasn’t a shelter, then I suppose it would be something to question. You never know.

Now, why is she humping? Girls hump for dominance, even spayed girls do this.

Rabbits are the humpiest creatures probably in the whole world. They will hump almost anything round. They hump stuffed animals, balloons, even your feet. The yellow liquid im assuming is urine. Idk why she would pee while humping maybe it was accidental, or maybe she just had way to much to drink. Just keep watching her behavior the next few days and make sure she is eating drinking and peeing normally.

actually bonobos (primates) are they humpiest creatures. =P are you sure your rabbit is really a girl? I would double check to make sure it isn’t a boy.
