No words can describe how annoyed I am at myself right now.

So Chito is trained. She has this little corner of her enclosure that she likes and basically poop and pee goes to their supposed place. But two days ago it rained so bad and I felt sad because Chito hadnt had her usual exercise so I brought her into my room–somewhere she had never went before–to have a little run. All went well. When night comes, I took her back to her usual spot in the porch because my mum doesn’t let her inside out of fear that she will “bring diseases” (no mum). So that;s that.

And then by the morning I cleaned up her tray (as thoroughly as I could because I do it weekly) and now she poos in the garden patch where she usually grazes ( I have tried scooping the old poop back to the tray but nothing’s improving yet. Tips, anyone? Or should I let her have that patch and not poop in the tray?

        Thanks guys :””

Oh and she’s not spayed yet. The vet wants to wait until she’s at least 7 months (she’s about 4 now).

She’s pooping while she grazes on grass? This is normal for them to eat while they poop. If she’s pooping in the garden that isn’t anything to worry about.

Thanks for the response, Beka. Yes, she poops while she grazes. But I’m worried about the cleaning-up of it all because the patch isnt that big and she stops pooping in the cage so I cannot monitor the droppings and it attracts some flies and… oh god I sound like a paranoid mom dont I :”

I don’t know that you can do anything about the droppings attracting flies. How long is she out in the garden?
