I have two rabbits, Puzzle and Kirby. They’re brothers, have been together all their lives, and they’re fixed, but when I locked them up in their cage for the night, Puzzle started chasing Kirby around and biting him. I’ve separated them, but I don’t know what to do. Please help?

Has anything changed in their environment?

Hmm, something caused an upset. Usually there is a reason a seemingly happy bunny pair suddenly starts finding. Unfortunately, we don’t know what’s going on in their little bunny brains so sometimes it isn’t anything we can pinpoint.

They have had time to cool down now. Have you tried reintroducing them in a neutral area?

Did they actually start fighting or just one butt-nipping the other? One of mine will nip the other’s butt to get him to move or to play.

Also, has Kirby been ill? Sometimes bunnies will get nasty with an ill bunny whose scent may be a little off.
