As it says on the title I was busy helping mum move stuff to my room and we didn’t pay attention to Chito When I went to check her, her legs are soaked to the skin and the bucket of water mixed with detergent which my mum used to help wash stained clothes displayed signs of recent bunny drop.

She’s licking herself now and I’m worried bcs it’s detergent water and she’s resisting pick-ups or burritos as always What do I do now ((((

As quicky as you can wash her down with water, put her in either the sink or the shower and get as much as you can off her.
If she won’t let you pick her up throw a towel over her and pick her up that way.
Then dry her compleatly (not with a hair dryer).
Then get her in to see a vet, just to make sure she’s ok.

I’m thinking the same thing – rinse, rinse and rinse! And maybe ring the vet, state the detergent and ask if you need to bring your bun in.

              But rinse (heaps) first!

Rinse rinse rinse-if shes resistant, be stronger-she can’t lick that!
Ditto calling the vet as she did lick some -or ASPCA poison control https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control
                Keep us posted!

Hi guys! She’s okay now. It was a very weak solution of Rinso (mum says so) but I’m still worried. We tried to pick her up and she didnt like it at all, hiding in her corner of the garden (virtually unreachable, sadly), so I slipped a clean towel over there and she sat on the towel and it absorbed some of the wetness. So no rinse :”(

Been keeping extra watch on her, but there seems to be no change in either poop, pee, or feeding/drinking habits. I’m trying to feed her more hay in the hope that it will help her flush whatever small amount she manages to lick (will it help). She feels guilty about it, I think, I remember finding her sitting in the middle of the terrace, all four legs soaking wet with that look in her face. *sighs* And I’m definitely going to the pet soon, yes. It’s a major problem that most of the vets here arent rabbit-savvy and the closest one is about 90 minutes drive

Thank you for the suggestions, guys. I hope she’ll be okay :””
