Hi, I am building a large bunny condo for my rabbit and was looking for the cheapest black zip ties (using black grids), and came across some that are labelled as having. UV protection and the description says “Carbonate A was added for greater resistance to ultra violet rays in outdoor usage. Prolongs useful life of cable tie under sunshine/outdoor application.” I have seen a lot of people using UV protected ties with no issues but I have no idea what Carbonate A is or if it is safe. Does anyone know or has anyone used these? I am going to buy them tomorrow so any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

That is an interesting question, one that I didn’t really think about.
My guess is that it will be fine if you use them, as your bunny shouldn’t really be chewing/eating the ties.
