I noticed last night that one of Kieko’s eyes was a tiny bit wet and had a little bit of clear jelly-like stuff in one spot. It looks the same this morning. Is this a vet visit or a wait and see type thing? I’m guessing it may be irritation from a piece of hay dust, but its the same eye that had a bruise/abrasion around 8 or 9 months ago.

Could it be because of molar spurs ? I read that they may exert pressure on the tear duct and runny eyes may be a result.. But this is relevant only if the runny eyes continue to happen. I’d wait and see for 2-3 days.

On July 25 I had all three bunnies at the vet, and the vet said Kieko’s teeth were perfect. It’s not so much that it’s tearing, but looks almost like it would of it had a tiny bit of eye ointment in it.

Runny eyes generally come with molar spurs and snuffles. But you said it appeared jelly-like..it may be, just may be something like a  bacterial infection or inflammation of the tear duct (I dont want to scare you). Do not worry too much right now. Just check her eye everyday frequently. I hope it wont persist and bother little Kieko.

I agree with the others. I would wait a few days. It may clear up on its own.
