It all started 2 weeks ago when i noticed she had diarrhea, i didnt know what had caused or if it was a couple day thing so i decided to wait it out for a couple days. On the coming tuesday, i took her to the vet because she still had lots of diarrhea and was very worrried about it, she had just gotten off an antibiotic btw.  So Vet told me that nothing was wrong with her and that bunnies sometimes get “seasonal diarrhea” like twice a year, he also said that her organ movement was pretty good and told me to wait out the diarrhea to go away and to give her lots of fiber. so i was very relieved because i was worried sick about her. Days went by and she didnt get any better, she started eating less and drinking less, she wasn’t active at all. i tried to get her to eat veggies and pellet, als try to drink water. she still ate but not too much. On saturday i decided to let her come outside to eat some veggies. she was under the shade, eating plants and stuff she seemed good. it looked like she had lost weight tho. and that was the last time i got to hold her. The next day on sunday i had to work all day till late, came home and checked on her and she was alive, took a shower and ate. then i got a phone call and went to my room to take it when i noticed my sweet layla had passed away and i knew it couldn’t have been more than just a few minutes due to her still being warm. my baby had passed away, and i felt awful because i couldnt keep her alive. i felt like such a bunny mama failure. everytime i think about how i found her and her cute little ears turning cold and blue it breaks my heart. i still expect to see her everytime i come home wanting treats and for me to pet her. I miss her doing her binkys and running around my house in happiness.
