DM is only 2 days post op and seems to be totally back to his old self again. BUT…

He has been staying in my dau’s room and she reports that he *only* runs in circles around her and occasionally nips at her.

When he sees me he runs around me frantically thumping, grunting, sniffs me excessively, nips at me in a biting way and tries to wrap himself around me to hump me. This isn’t a one off thing either…it’s a constant if he can reach me.  I can’t pet him or he will latch on like a wild man having his last go round.

I’m sure I  smell like the other rabbits but isn’t the op suppose to have the opposite effect or does it just take time or is he gonna be humphappy forever now or?

        Eep.

My understanding is that it will take between 4 to 6 weeks for all the hormones to be clear from the system. So 2 days is a bit on the short side

            Ah, ok.
Maybe he knows his bio clock is ticking.
Today I sat down on his floor and he did his circles and such then jumped in my lap and started to tug at my clothes demanding I pet him and would tug again if I stopped. He’s never done that before and for a moment I worried if he was ok but I think it was just another bunny thing.
When I stood up he was running around me fine again.
