Last month, I introduced the idea of litter screen to my dad and he made me one with a plastic mesh. Sometimes Moshu would chew it from the sides but the screen lasted for 3 weeks. Until a few days back. She nearly disfigured the screen all of a sudden Chewed from the corners, the center, it has reached its terminal stage. She was bored or annoyed, I guess.

I was wondering if I could use a metal screen. What type of metal are the litter screens on BB online shop made of ? I would have loved to order from BB, but I am from South Asia.

I used just plain wire mesh. I don’t know if it is called something fancier than that where you are but you should be able to find it at a gardening or home improvement store.
Once you cut out the pieces you need, you should trim and file the edges of the mesh so it is not sharp.

Wire meshes are easily available here. I will try that this time instead of a plastic mesh. Dad will help me with the edges.

Thank you LEL How long did your’s last ? I just hope our bunnies wont try to chew it too much as it sounds hurtful to their gums.
