  So now that I can’t come home at lunch to keep peanut company, I decided, now that he’s been neutered, that’s it’s time for him to get some company of his own kind. I’ve been thinking about it for a little while and I think it’s the right way to go.
  
  So anyway, welcome to pumpkin, she’s a 10 week old English dwarf/lop cross (so I was told by the pet shop.) they’ve microchipped her, given her a full health check and I get her first vaccines for free!
  
  Put them in separate pens for now until she settles in, but within 30 minutes they were lying down side by side together on opposite sides of the grids. Peanut has somehow snuck a piece of celery to her through the grids as shei found her munching away when I cam back into the room after 10 mins!

  Just had their first ‘out of cage’ meeting. All was going perfectly until Peanut decided to mount and start humping her. I panicked, pulled him off her and put her back in her pen. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that, but she’s a tiny wee thing and I thought he was going to hurt her!!

  They are adorable together. It’s sweet that he’s sharing his food with her.

  I would suggest, however, that you wait until she is spayed to do any serious bonding. Females can be super territorial and aggressive and I wouldn’t want Peanut to get hurt. You can still do things like switching their litter boxes now to help speed things along when she’s spayed.
