A little background first: when we first got Puck, my other half was away doing touring work, so Puck had me to himself for a few weeks. Once Morse got back, Puck suddenly took to grooming me almost constantly whenever I was within reach, but would only occasionally groom Morse. I figured this was normal – after all, he’d essentially only just met him, so I just let them get to know each other on their own terms. Fast forward about a month and Puck now grooms Morse whenever he can get his little mitts on him, but whenever Morse is around, Puck’s really aloof with me. On the other hand, whenever Morse is out, Puck is all over me, grooming, climbing on my lap, nose-touching, bunny-500-ing around me, binkying into my lap (which is seriously cute, by the way
).Can someone explain why I seem to have two different versions of Puck on my hands now? Is it something I should be bothered about or is it normal? I mean, it doesn’t seem like there’s anything wrong, but I don’t want to ignore such a huge behavioural change with a type of pet I’m still relatively unfamiliar with
