Hi everyone this may seem like a stupid question but lately I have noticed that my two male neutered rabbits have a fluffy round thing under their chins. It’s more noticeable on Dino. They are just over one year old. I didn’t think it was anything unusual as the vet hasn’t said anything and I sort of assumed it was a beard or something haha?? Just wondered if anyone knew what it is? Thanks

I’m loving the angle if this photo. So cute!

It looks like a male dewlap. Some boy buns will get them.

Sometimes it can be when a male bun is overweight but those can look more pillow-like.
This little flap is likely more to do with their genes I’d say.

Does it feel like loose skin and squishy. Not hard round lumps or anything?

i know females get the dewlap, or as I like to call it, the tuft of hair. But they are usually more pronounced or bigger. He doesn’t look like he has a big one so maybe its different?
