Does anyone know of a good exotic vet in the Charleston area? I have gone to the one in Mount Pleasant  and he’s kind, gentle, loving, brilliant and adorable (I’m old. I can say that!), but I really would like a second opinion before jumping into MAJOR EXPENSIVE ear surgery.

All the other exotics vets are 2+ hours away. Many vets advertise dogs, cats, reptiles and “ask about any others” so I don’t know if I have the confidence in them, but if anyone has a vet in this area they think is really good with their bunny, PLEASE help!

I have no idea, but I am just jumping on here to say hi MB!
Have you asked rescues or the HRS near you for recommendations?

Tobyluv and I have been PMing a lot lately and she as well as a breeder in Arkansas AND a vet from back home have helped me work through this. I’m going to start a new thread because I think some people were curious about what happened w/ the ears. It’s seems so common maybe it will help someone

              HELLO MB!!! (excited!)

How is Gus? Should I wait to read your new thread? I’m happy to do that…..
And I am replying – I think of you every day! The hubby is on day shift and I’m struggling for ‘me’ time. Just know I am ‘getting there’, ha ha ha!
