What are your bunnies favorite solo activities? Digging, climbing, shredding, or just making noise?

As I’ve watched and read other posts about bunny behavior I see that tons of bunnies love to dig… except Peter.  I’ve tried various things to make digging fun for him, but the closest he gets is sticking his face in something once and then going back to whatever he was doing.

His all-time favorite solo game is playing with the vertical blinds in front of the balcony door.  He’ll pull them, push them, and make as much noise as possible. This game can last anywhere from a minute to almost an hour, and surely must make our neighbors wonder what the crazy people upstairs do in the evenings.

He also enjoys climbing;  Up is always good.  When he thinks no one is looking he’ll zoom around and binky on the bed.  Once he realizes that he’s been seen he’ll slowly side-step to the edge and carefully hop down to the floor like he was never on the bed; staring at you like you’re just a crazy person.

Mine enjoy sleeping…. is that an activity?
They also really enjoy flinging the baby chains hanging from the cage, as well as running through tunnels.

Henry’s favourite past time is anything and everything NAUGHTY!!!
This includes chewing everything that’s mine – the latest being my bed comforter…..
Chewing his stuff is not fun… cause he doesn’t want to damage his things!

            SIGH!

Midas doesn’t really like to play, he is an observer. He will run around and binky, but his favorite thing to do is just watch what’s going on around him.

Flopsie’s favorite pastime is aggravating me by chewing on things that shouldnt be chewed on or that will cause her harm, getting into areas she’s not supposed to get into, or climbing on furniture that I don’t want her fur to get on. When she’s not testing my patience she likes to create bothersome noise in the home by chewing on the cage or the xpen.

Haha in all seriousness she doesn’t really like to “play” but he does like to tunnel around at high speeds and tear up cardboard. So I’ve combined the two activities by making cardboard tunnels lol

Theodore seems to enjoy binkying like mad around the room. He also has a thing for tunnels, and the “let’s dig to China” game, which doesn’t really work because our floors are hardwood… it works a little better in his pen corner with a towel that he digs at. He also likes shredding paper towels and tossing around his toys. Picking up and boxing the hay ball, tossing the baby keys, put the toys in the basket, push the toys out of the pen, or, possibly his favorite thing ever – drop the ceramic tiles against one another! He loves the sound and it can be heard all the way down the hall!

I also like to teach him little tricks. Right now he knows “go home” means to go back to the pen, “circle” means spin in a circle. I haven’t taught him anything else yet. XD

Bramble really doesn’t like to play, no matter how many different toys I buy/make for him. I did put a big box full of paper in his pen yesterday to replace his digging box which he never actually did any digging in and he jumped on top of it, proceeded to sort of fall inside of it and stay there the rest of the day. Does that count as playing? He hasn’t quite figured out how to jump up on the furniture yet mind you. Really he just likes to chew things.

I can relate to this one! lol Pete discovered that I had left a bra on the bed today; and since he had never seen one before he thought it would be good to customize it for me.

We haven’t gotten into learning any real tricks yet, but he seems to understand “treat.”
And as for his toys, he mostly just uses them to get the attention of either me or Zoey. He’ll pick up anything with a bell and wave it until people look, then drops it and seems content that he’s the center of attention.

This made me laugh to picture it; like a slow-motion bunny elevator. Gotta love bunnies.
