Hello All, it’s been awhile, but I hope you and your bunnies are doing well!
I had Neville neutered a week ago Thursday. Ever since then, he has barely licked me or nuzzled me. I miss his little kisses! Seriously, since Sunday he has not done any of his usual very affectionate things! I know he isn’t depressed- he still runs around and plays, but it is as though he is still mad at me! Does anyone have any suggestions? I miss my little guys attention!

Just try doing the things you would do if you had just gotten him — lay down on the floor, let him come to you and check you out, etc. I bet you’ll be getting head butts for pets in no time! Sometimes they do seem to hold little grudges but they come around when they feel you’ve suffered enough!

It’s funny that they say bunnies hold grudges but after getting my bun spayed I believe it! My bun doesn’t really like to be picked up and held but she tolerated it. After the spaying she won’t let me pick her up at all! It’s like she knows or remembers lol. Slowly I’m working my way back but it’s taken time. And she was spayed 2 months ago! I think it takes time and do as the above poster said. It’s good advice

Thank you both! I am also working on training him to come when I call him (using carrots), so hopefully that will help!

I just noticed your avatar and looked at your profile photo for a look-see at Neville. Too cute — I got fluffy overload from the pic!
