I have laminate flooring, which Bashful doesn’t seem to mind, but I’m trying to buy a few rugs and other stuff to place around the room for him to feel a little more comfortable on! I’ve already ordered a few things, like fleece blankets and those cosy pet beds, my favorite being a little soft hideout/bed in the shape of a strawberry!
Most importantly, I currently have a little bit of carpet in front of his cage, which looks so ugly in my room and is driving me crazy! I want to replace it with something a little more appealing, and I’ve found a nice pink bath mat that’s both gripped on the bottom (so won’t slip when he jumps out) and is absorbent! It seems perfect, but the only question is, it’s made of a material called chenille and I’m just wondering if this is okay for bunnies?

So, with any bathmat really, you run the risk of the bun ingesting too much of the rubber as well as the material which the mat is made of. You could try it, and if he doesn’t chew it, that might work, but if I were you I would keep it to supervised uses only.
