        Hey all!
My bunny Linus fell in love with the grocery bag I put in his pen. I let him nibble at it for about a half hour, and when I came back, he had chewed a 3 inch hole in the bottom corner and seemed to be licking at the sugary-like glue. (I tasted it: it was sweet, no wonder he liked it!) I removed the bag, because although I wasn’t worried about the paper, I was concerned about the glue. Am I being over protective? He is only 3 months old, so I feel like I still have new-mommy syndrome. Thanks for the help!

Hey! Welcome to the forum. I would suggest keeping a good eye on him to make sure he’s still doing fine, which he probably is, but just be vigilant for potential issues. You’re right to make sure he isn’t ingesting that glue. If he was just licking it, though, he’s probably fine. Not that you should let him do it, of course.

Thank you for the reply! Its been six hours and he seems just fine, eating and playing as usual. I’ll update if he is unwell in the morning, but in the future, no more paper grocery bags for him.
