Now I’m not saying my bun and I were ever close…but she at least had a pretty good toleration of me. So now she is a spoiled little bun and is giving me quite a bit of attitude. So we had a really good bit going where when it was bed time she would follow the treat and almost willingly hop right in her cage. Now she doesnt seem to care about the treats and wont go into her cage. It seems like it doesnt matter what the treat is, she’s figured out the game and wants nothing to do with it. So sadly Ive had to go against the rulse and pick her up to take her to her cage. Now she HATES being picked up. What started at just squirmy struggles has turned into full blown, thumping her feet and running, to grunting and kicking violently when I finally have her to the point where she has kicked out of my arms and Ive dropped her ( I feel like a terrible bunny mom). I dont know what to do. I cant leave her out while I sleep because shes very naughty and will chew and get into everything. But Im so scared that Im going to hurt her due to her stuggles and that I will ruin what little trust there was between me and my bun. Is this sort of a sign that I just need to start my bun bonding process over? Oh dear

How old is she? She may be going into the “bratty bunny” stage which means she needs to be spayed.

She’s 3 or 4 months give or take. Not 100% sure but around that age.

Yep, LEL is right. Bratty bunny. Her lovely hormones have kicked in.

Sounds like it. In about a month or two, she will need to be spayed. This will likely help her hormonal behavior, but of course the biggest thing is that spaying will greatly reduce the risk of her developing reproductive cancers. C:
