Who doesn’t love to look at pictures of other people’s bunny cages? I do.. Maybe a bit too much . Haha, anyway, I figured I would post a few pictures of how Midas’s cage is setup. Feel free to leave pics of your cage, or any comments or ideas on how to make it better you have.

This is how Midas’s cage is set up.. He has several toys, plus a hanging toy at the front that isn’t shown in the picture. (Don’t mind the hidey house! Midas does not chew on cardboard, which is why his boy still has the sticker on it. If your bunny chews, do not put a box with a sticker on it!) The floor of his cage is just my old bed sheet.

Midas in his hidey house. His hidey house is on the bottom left side of his cage.

This is Midas’s Litter Box. It is on the top left side of his cage. It is a bit messy because he loves to lay in his hay. The first hay rack is a store bought one, that he doesn’t use what-so-ever. The second hay rack is a homemade one, and he loves it.. (It is crooked because he likes to push it up with his nose.. Don’t ask why XD)

This is Midas’s stand. It is in the bottom right side of his cage. I made it using nine toilet rolls and a cardboard square. I “glued” it on using a flour and water mixture. He likes to hop on this, but I take it out of his cage when I am not supervising him.

And this is Midas wondering why I am taking pictures of HIS cage.

So that is Midas’s cage set up, hope you all enjoy. Again, if you have any ideas on how to make it a better set up, feel free to tell me

It’s really cool! My rabbit’s LOVE dog beds. Right now, they have a really fluffy mat type dog bed in their pen. Rumpus loves to groom it, and the buns really do like to sleep on them. Just make sure your bunny doesn’t chew them and eat the fluff (Mocha chewed up a bed once, when she got jeolous that Rumpus was grooming the bed instead of her.)

Maybe you can add a second level. I added a second level/shelf type thing, and the bunnies really love to go play up there. It gives them extra space without expanding the pen.

My bunnies really like having a seperate pile of hay in their pen. I just have a bowl in the corner of the cage that I pile up of hay. They also really enjoy Snak Shak logs. They reall like those plastic igloos you can buy at petsmart. They really enjoy sitting on top of them for some reason (I think Mocha feels that she’s a princess on top of a castle lol.)

Looks great! I love that little stand. I was considering getting something like that for Theodore to help him get in and out of his pen easier… right now he hops over a 5″ piece of the pen and although he clears it easily, it seems to be like a little too much just for going in and out of his house!

Wonderful! (I know you will eventually be getting more cardboard boxes, but I would pick out a sturdy one or two for him to get on top of as well My bun likes to be up tall and see all the action! )

Aww, thanks guys *blushes* I didn’t know my setup was so amazing, haha.

And yeah, feel free to take the stand idea. I just had some extra toilet rolls lying around, and I noticed Midas loves to hop. So I just built that, and it only took a little bit.. Plus it supports a lot of weight.

Kyrkogrimr- and yeah, he is pretty gorgeous so is your bun.

Thanks I plan on expanding at, but getting him fixed when he is old enough is definitely the main priority.
