As many of you know by now, Cinnabun has been sick for a few weeks. George hasn’t exactly been the supportive brother. Today Cinnabun and George have been acting funny. They won’t play, cuddle, or eat  near each other. I think that they must have had a fight. I can not find any injuries on them, but Cinnabun runs away from George now and won’t eat around him.

        So here is my question:

Do I separate them? If I do, do I keep them in the same room so that they can see each other or different rooms? Supervised play time together/around each other or no?

Edit- ADMINS- I didn’t know if this belonged in bonding or not because it isn’t technically bonding advice, it is a sick bunny being bullied by a healthy bunny. Feel free to move it if it doesn’t belong here and thanks in advance!

        Thanks everyone!

Nevermind! We are now in the middle of a huge thunderstorm and I think that cured the problem. Terrified rabbits= bonding and cuddling rabbits who forgot what they were fighting about.

It could be that George senses that Cinnabun is sick. When my bunny had cancer, his buddy and him stopped being interested in each other. I guess it’s normal for a bunny to distance itself from it’s buddy if they know he/she is sick.

Glad to hear they are cuddling now.
