Hey everybunny. I know this site is for mainly rabbits, but who doesn’t love seeing some other cute animals? I am sure most of you have other pets, and I am sorry if somebunny already started this thread. I just thought it would be fun to see some other pets .

        I will start :

This is Daisy. Daisy is a purebred Chihuahua, and she is currently ten years old. She is my baby girl, and follows me everywhere. She is a complete lap dog, but loves to pretend she is some big dog that can take on things 4x her size. (ex. Our neighbors German Shepherd.) I got Daisy four years ago on Christmas. I like to pretend I rescued her, because I got her from a friend who wasn’t the nicest to her. My friend’s children would throw her around (resulting in some back problems and extremely sensitive bones), and she was practically kennel ridden. She was never taken outside, so she went potty in there house. The eldest daughter of my friend (who was 10) would put lotion and other various perfumes and nail polish on her, causing a near death situation after Daisy accidentally licked some of the lotion and perfume off. Her nicknames include Daisy Doodle, Doodle Bug, and Baby Girl.

(Daisy being the excellent guard dog she is.)

Meet Lexi! Lexi is eight years old, and loves to snuggle. She is absolutely beautiful, but sheds everywhere. (Which is why my clothes are always covered in white fur.) Lexi is an American Shorthair Cat who we get for free from some old friends of mine. None of the cats at the house where I got Lexi were potty trained, or fixed, and they had babies constantly. Lexi is a bit of an escape artist, and is gone months at a time. She runs away everywhere to practice her survival skills living in the wild. When she comes back, she is dirty, and we always give her some milk . Lexi and Daisy are best friends, and love to get in trouble together. They normally can be found snuggling together in my bed, and taking up all the room. Lexi’s nicknames include Ghost, Houdini, and Lexi Lady.

(Daisy and Lexi snuggling after a couple months apart.)

        (She saw a fly )

Say hi to Moshi Moshi is a four month old Black Tri Australian Shepherd. He is incredibly smart, and loves to eat. He has learned quite a few tricks, and is completely food motivated. He is completely healthy, and loves to get into mischief. He can often be found playing with our neighbors German Shepherd. He is incredibly energetic, and loves to go on LONG walks. He likes to herd (because he is a herding dog ) and is just starting to learn how to herd our neighbors chickens back into their pen at night. We got Moshi from out of state, and he is the second dog we got from that breeder. Moshi’s nicknames include Moshi Monster, Little Bear, and Fluffball. He loves to swim, and splash in puddles.

(Moshi’s first time in the car without a kennel)

Finally, this is Levi. Levi unforunately is no longer with us, but was Moshi’s older brother (from another father.) We had Levi for two weeks before he passed away. Levi was half the size of Moshi, and he was incredibly smart. I lost him on June 27 of this year. He got into some peonies, and I didn’t know that they were poisonous. He died in my arms. He was only ten weeks when he died, and I think about him all the time.

(Levi learning how to sit an hour before he died.)

So, there you go those are my pets (and past pets.) Sorry that that was so long by the way.. What about you? Do you have a parrot? Maybe some other exotic pet? Dog? Feel free to share past pets like I did with Levi. PS this forum is not for bunnies, but feel free to share pics if you do not own any other pets.

Get ready for a looong post from me! We have quite a few pets, but each have a story, aand I’m happy that all of them are in my life. Okay enough of the sappy stuff.

Snickers: My pure bred mini Dachshund, she is currently sleeping in my lap as I type this. She’s a real cutie and loves to act so very tough. Probably the top dog in the house.

Next is Sky. He had a bit of a rough start in life. We got him roughly 10 years ago, he’s probably 11 or 12. He’s a golden retriever shepherd mix. We had been visiting an animal shelter for a while and there was something special about him. He was the nicest dog and never barked when people walked by. The dumb animal shelter kept selling him as a girl dog because he was so fluffy they couldn’t tell his gender! He was returned quite a few times. His previous names were Skyla and Skylar. The animal shelter put him on the euthanization list. He had 48 hours before he was euthanized. We adopted him and he’s such a great dog!

Zero. He’s a purebred Husky. we got him 4 years ago? He was 8 months old and he’s 5 now so yeah. He was in his kennel most of the time. So besides practically living in his kennel he was treated pretty good by his owners.

Those are the dogs in the family. I’ll continue later, this post is getting too big!
