Hey guys, I am just looking for opinions on my rabbits behavior.

On Friday I added a second level to my bunnies x-pen, it hold their tunnel haven, which is my bunnies favorite place to sleep. My female bun, some mornings is full of energy, but usually comes out of the cage into the living room during the day.

Today, not so much, she has been in the tunnel 90% of today. She has come onto the first level of the pen a few times, came out of the pen once for veggies and once to see me while I was lying on the floor, but mostly she is just in the tunnel.

She is not lethargic, and still acts the same when I go to pet her (she doesn’t like it and usually backs away), and she has eaten everything I have placed in front of her – treat, daily veggies, a compressed Oxbow Hay Cake.

        Any ideas?

Sounds like she’s just decided that she likes that area even more / feels safest there now. If she’s still eating normally, acting normally, and her poop and pee look normal, then she’s probably fine. c:

If it persists for more than a week or two, you can take her to a vet. Rabbits do tend to isolate themselves a bit when they are feeling sick. I an understand how the change in her normal energetic behavior can be a source of worry to you.

And yes, as funny-looking-rabbit said, appetite is a big indicator of sickness. If she’s still interested in her food the same way she used to be..then, there she’s probably fine. But do keep an eye on her for behavioral changes.
