        Hello!

I am a new owner of a nine week lovely mini lop Rabbit named Chester.
I just noticed last night that there was dark dots at the bottom of his ears. He does pull his ear down to clean and shakes his head sometimes,
as I have read could be signs of them. I have attached a photo of what it looks like
If anyone can help I am very worried it may be ear mites. The vet was closed today for the holiday and would like some peace of mind until
I can get him in to see the doctor.

Thank you so very much! I love the website already !

I think mites. Looks like them, and my bunnies have never had earwax that looks like that. Go to the vet as soon as it opens.

Hmmm I haven’t seen mites before; Definitely not wax, it’s kind of lump and orange or yellow -pretty easy to tell if it’s wax. But I’m not sure what that is! Let us know how you make out at the vet, and welcome!
