        Hey all,

I had posted on Friday about Gizmo not eating. Long story short, he is fine. I think he had a bad tummy ache, and shortly after I posted I found quite a large poo in his cage and he returned to his happy self. We still took him to the vet, and Gizmo checked out just fine (I did have him feel and listen to his tummy and everything was good). The vet gave him something to help increase his appetite (I’m sorry, I never got the name of what exactly it was) and yesterday Gizmo began really showing the signs of being a hungry bunny. He was running around my room chewing on EVERYTHING! We ended up feeding him three times every 3-4 hours. We basically split up what he would typically get at once, but I do know he got a little more than he usually does.

I don’t know if I should continue giving him pellets every few hours. He has been fine so far, but I worry that it might be too much on his tummy. I just feel so bad seeing him so hungry! I can’t even hardly get his bowl on the ground before he starts chowing down! He gets unlimited hay and parsley a couple times a day. Would this be enough to keep him full?
I suppose any advice would be helpful at this point! Has anyone else had experiences like this!?

        Thanks!

Hay is going to keep him full. I don’t know how much pellets you do go him but those should be the smallest part of this diet.

He gets about 1/8 of a cup of pellets a day, but I do know he got a tad bit more yesterday. And thank you! I suppose I just needed to hear someone tell me that the hay will keep him full so I wouldn’t worry so much
