        Hi all

My 9 year old rabbit has been shedding like nuts lately, so I’m not sure if I should be concerned about this or not.

I just found a spot on his right hind leg that has no fur. I’ve taken some pictures for reference. I’m not sure if this indicates an issue or if this is normal given that he’s shedding.

        Any advice would be appreciated.

        Thanks!

As long as the skin doesn’t look red, and the fur grows back, I wouldn’t worry. I heard of an angora who went COMPLETELY bald except for his face, paws and tail during molting!

Most likely just molting. My buns usually get bald spots when they are molting. The fur just comes out in chunks. Bindi has a bald spot right on top of his head right now.
